Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. in Mississauga is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while training others to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will help ensure food quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, and promote teamwork between back of house and front of house staff. Availability to work at least 32 hours weekly is required.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Following Chipotle policies and procedures in all tasks.
• Cook and prep food to order and follow kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and well stocked.
• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment and address malfunctions quickly.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO documentation.
