Job summary

Capital Ford Lincoln (Winnipeg) is seeking a Service Dispatcher to act as the central hub of the service department. You will direct repair workflow, match high-skill jobs to technicians, and collaborate with Service Advisors and Parts to keep repairs moving smoothly.

You bring automotive service dispatching experience, strong organization, and excellent communication. This role offers a career path within Capital Automotive Group with a focus on efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service dispatching or shop management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Clear communication with technicians, service advisors and parts staff.

Responsibilities

• Command the Workflow: efficiently assign and dispatch repair orders based on technician expertise, job urgency, and availability.
• Keep Lines Open: act as the main bridge between Technicians, Service Advisors, and Parts to keep repairs on track and customers informed.
• Drive Quality & Efficiency: monitor repair progress, minimize downtime, and track time and parts in the DMS system.
• Own the Floor: resolve real-time schedule disruptions to keep the shop running safely, productively, and profitability.
