Job summary

Calmont Group is hiring a Service Advisor for the Calmont Truck Centre in Edmonton, AB. You will manage day-to-day administrative tasks for the Service Department and serve as the first point of contact for customers.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, handling inquiries, and coordinating repair status with technicians. The position emphasizes strong communication, organization, and attention to detail to ensure repairs are properly documented and completed on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year customer service experience.
• 2–5 years prior service department technical experience or mechanical background preferred.
• Energetic and friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist all customers entering the service area.
• Address customer inquiries in person, via email, or by phone.
• Act as liaison between the service department and customers.
• Contact customers when extra work is required to obtain authorization.
• Follow up on repair status to ensure units are ready as promised.
• Advise customers of repair status and any delays.
