Job summary

Forbes GM is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team of customer focused professionals. The Service Advisor will act as a liaison between customers and technicians, recommend required service and repairs, handle scheduled maintenance requests, and help sell additional services when appropriate.

The role ensures the vehicle is fixed right the first time by accurately documenting concerns and reviewing the work order with customers at delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in the automotive industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recommend required service and repairs and handle scheduled maintenance requests.
• Document customer concerns on repair orders and review orders with customers at delivery.
• Assist with selling additional services where appropriate to meet vehicle needs and company targets.

Purpose/Summary of Position:

The Service Advisor is responsible for ensuring that our service customers receive timely, friendly and efficient service. Acting as a liaison between the customer and our technicians, the Service Advisor recommends required service and repairs, handles scheduled maintenance service requests and sells additional services when appropriate.
