As part of a dynamic and innovative team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering safe, efficient, and sustainable railway solutions for clients across freight rail, LRT or Subway commuter rail, and port rail projects. Role accountabilities:
Track Design & Planning:

Develop detailed track design plans, incorporating alignment, curvature, grading, elevation, and system and drainage elements. Optimize layouts for efficiency, safety, and sustainability while adhering to project specifications. Ensure design incorporates special trackwork, turnout, crossovers, storage tracks, etc.
Feasibility Studies & Alignment Assessments:
Conduct feasibility studies and alignment assessments to determine optimal routes for rail and transit systems. Use advanced engineering software and tools to model and analyze alignment options, addressing challenges such as geography, topography, and environmental considerations.
System Integration & Coordination:
Collaborate with designers of other railway subsystems—such as signaling, traction power, systems, civil works, structures, roads, and drainage—to ensure seamless integration and holistic solutions. Coordinate across multiple disciplines to deliver complex projects while addressing technical challenges effectively.
Compliance & Standards:
Ensure all track and alignment designs meet industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines. Stay informed about evolving practices and contribute to the development and refinement of internal standards. Maintain compliance with health and safety laws related to design processes.

Work closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure track and alignment designs integrate seamlessly into overall project scopes. Supervise and mentor junior designers, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Provide technical expertise during construction phases and resolve design-related issues as needed.
