The Opportunity: WSP Canada is growing, and our ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) division is seeking a licensed Senior Structural Engineer (P.Eng.) for our GTA-based offices. You will oversee and lead the structural design and analysis of systems, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and client needs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and a successful project delivery record.

This hybrid role is ideally based in our Etobicoke, Mississauga, or Thornhill offices.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and analyze industrial plant structures, including buildings, supports, foundations, etc.
• Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Ensure designs meet all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate across disciplines and with stakeholders for integrated design.
• Conduct site visits, gather data, and provide solutions.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Ensure project delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Use industry-standard software for structural analysis and design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Deep knowledge of design principles, codes, and standards.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RISA-3D, SAP2000).
• Strong understanding of construction materials.
• Proven project management and delivery success.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Valid Full-G driver’s license.
