The Optical PHY (CE-OPHY) team designs high-speed optical transceivers for communication infrastructure in long-haul, metro, and datacenter applications. We address bandwidth, capacity, and power challenges faced by cloud computing and mega data centers powering social media platforms. Our innovative approaches have led to market-first products, developing advanced chips and subsystems to meet increasing data rate demands driven by video streaming, gaming, and real-time data.
You will work with your team on architectural investigations and implementation for circuits such as PLL, DLL, ADC, regulators, amplifiers, TX, RX, CDRs, etc., to meet key performance targets. You will perform design verification using industry-standard tools like SPICE, Spectre, MATLAB, etc. As part of a team of analog design engineers, you will interface with layout, verification, and application teams to deliver analog IP from concept to production.
Master’s degree and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related fields with 10+ years of experience. Experience in some of the following areas is required:
