WSP Canada is expanding, and our ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) division is seeking a licensed Senior Structural Engineer (P.Eng.) for our GTA-based offices. You will oversee and lead the structural design and analysis of systems across various projects in the public and industrial sectors, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and client specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise and a successful project delivery record.

This hybrid role can be based in Etobicoke, Mississauga, or Thornhill.

What you can expect to do:

• Design and analyze industrial plant structures, including buildings, supports, and foundations
• Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Ensure designs meet codes, standards, and regulations
• Collaborate across disciplines and with stakeholders
• Conduct site visits and assessments
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
• Work with project teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery
• Use industry-standard software for structural analysis and design

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s preferred
• At least 15 years of experience in structural engineering
• Extensive knowledge of design principles, codes, and standards
• Proficiency in software like RISA-3D, S-Frame, SAP2000, SAFE
• Strong understanding of construction materials
• Proven success in managing projects from start to finish
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Valid Full-G driver’s license
