What You’ll Do

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll architect and build the Data Fabric that powers mission-critical workflows. You’ll work closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and data teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance services that meet the needs of our customers. You’ll also leverage the latest AI tools and platforms to enhance development speed, code quality, and innovation.

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable microservices using Java
• Design and implement integrations with various enterprise data stores and third-party APIs
• Build and maintain event-driven data pipelines using Apache Kafka for real-time data processing
• Architect solutions that meet strict compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system specifications and technical requirements
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making processes
• Implement robust error handling, monitoring, and automated recovery mechanisms
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards

Salary Range

CA$160,000.00 - CA$180,000.00 CAD per year. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
