Job summary

EBC is seeking a Project Director to lead one or more construction projects in Ontario. You will oversee bids, coordinate with project managers, and ensure safety, cost control, and adherence to schedule while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

Based in the Greater Toronto Area, the role requires travel across Ontario. A university degree or tech diploma in engineering, plus 15+ years of civil construction experience, is expected.

Qualifications

• Outstanding communication and organizational skills required.
• Bilingualism in French and English is a strong asset.
• Proven leadership of large-scale projects in construction.
• Strong knowledge of financial management and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bids and oversee execution of projects.
• Negotiate subcontracts and sign agreements under guidance.
• Ensure quality, safety, timelines and costs meet objectives.
• Collaborate with PMs and superintendents to control costs and productivity.
• Mentor staff and manage onsite resources and staff assignments.
• Manage ISO, QA/QC, and site kickoff activities.
