Job summary

EBC Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a major North York construction project. You will plan, organize, direct, and control site work to ensure timely completion, budget adherence, and top quality.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in construction management and 7+ years in project management, with strong leadership and negotiation skills. On-site work in North York is required and a security clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
• 7+ years' experience in construction project management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Read technical and administrative specifications.
• Acquire information from involved parties during submissions.
• Obtain blueprints and compare to bid plans.
• Report changes to professionals and claim costs.
• Mentor junior staff and provide career guidance.
• Lead projects with innovative solutions as needed.
• Obtain licenses and permits for work execution.
• Draft contracts and negotiate terms with subcontractors.
• Develop and monitor CNESST prevention program on site.
• Set and monitor project schedule and critical path weekly.
• Coordinate meetings and maintain client rapport.
