Job summary

Affirm is hiring a Senior Product Manager for Consumer Payments. You will create new payment experiences to simplify repaying, improve payment success, and define cost-effective, secure payment processing. This highly cross-functional role spans Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Design, and Partnerships.

You will drive the roadmap, focus on customer pain points, run experiments to boost conversion and success, and collaborate with diverse teams to deliver impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Analytical rigor: comfortable in data, uses experiments and user research to guide decisions.
• Curiosity about customers with strong instincts for where an experience breaks down.
• Experience discussing system design and tradeoffs with engineers.
• Track record of taking products from discovery through launch and iteration.

Responsibilities

• Improve how customers pay with affirm; create new payment experiences.
• Uncover where paying breaks down via research and data; share insights across the team.
• Design and run experiments to improve conversion, payment success, and cost.
• Shape payment processing for safety and cost-effectiveness; balance performance and risk.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Design, and Partnerships to explore opportunities and sequencing.
• Drive an ambitious roadmap delivering customer and business outcomes; present strategy to senior leaders.
