Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape new payment experiences and optimize how customers repay. You’ll work across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Design, and Partnerships to define and launch payment features that are safe, cost-efficient, and user-friendly.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, run experiments, and present strategy to senior leaders, driving a high-impact, customer‑focused roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Analytical rigor: comfortable with data, experiments, and customer research.
• Curiosity about customers and identifying where experiences break down.
• Experience discussing system design and tradeoffs with engineers.
• Track record of taking products from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Clear communication and influence across cross-functional teams.
• Bonus: experience in payments, fintech, or e-commerce.

Responsibilities

• Improve how customers pay with Affirm, focusing on payment experiences.
• Uncover where payment flows break down through research and data; share insights across teams.
• Create new payment experiences with Design and Analytics from discovery to launch.
• Design and run experiments to improve conversion, payment success, and cost.
• Shape how payments are processed safely and cost‑effectively, balancing performance and risk.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Design, and Partnerships to identify opportunities and define sequencing.
• Drive an ambitious roadmap delivering customer and business outcomes with high‑impact bets and leadership buy-in.
