Job summary

Affirm is remote-first and seeks a Senior Product Manager to craft new consumer payment experiences, improving repayment ease and payment success. You will collaborate across Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Design, and Partnerships to define and execute high-impact bets.

You will lead experiments, shape secure, cost-effective payment processing, and drive a data-informed roadmap that delivers measurable customer and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Analytical rigor; use data from experiments and research to drive decisions.
• Curiosity about customers; identify where experiences break down and fix them.
• Experience collaborating with engineers on systems design and tradeoffs.
• Track record of taking products from discovery through launch and iteration.
• Clear communication and ability to build trust across cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
• Bonus points for experience in payments, fintech, or e-commerce.

Responsibilities

• Improve how customers pay with Affirm by creating new payment experiences from discovery to launch.
• Focus on the customer; uncover breakdowns via research and data, sharing insights across teams.
• Design and run experiments to improve conversion, payment success, and cost.
• Shape how payments are processed safely and cost-effectively, balancing performance and risk.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Design, and Partnerships to explore opportunities and define sequencing.
• Drive an ambitious roadmap that delivers customer and business outcomes and present strategy to senior leaders.
