Overview

A career as an Operations Agent at National Bank, you will capitalize on your ability to work in synergy with clients and your colleagues. In this role, you will support members of your team by carrying out administrative tasks in accordance with Bank policies, standards, and procedures.

Your job
  • Warmly welcome clients to the branch and direct them to the right resource person.
  • Provide top-quality customer service in person, on the phone, and via email.
  • Help the assistant or branch assistant, as needed.
  • Make daily bank deposits and submit accounts payable.
  • Carry out daily administrative activities (mail, distribute and file documents, order supplies, manage conference room reservations, etc.).

National Bank Financial - Wealth Management is the fifth largest mutual funds brokerage firm in Canada. We have close to 1,000 investment advisors who manage the assets of more than 400,000 clients in about 100 branches. You will report to the Regional Manager and work closely with a team of investment advisors.

Prerequisites
  • Extensive knowledge of English and French language, both spoken and written
  • College diploma in Administration or a related field and 1 year of relevant experience
  • Experience working in financial services, an asset
  • Have completed, or will work toward completing, the Canadian Securities Course after being hired, an asset
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational and priority management skills
  • Self-starter with initiative and attention to detail
