Role Importance

The Senior Manager of Oncology Program Excellence contributes to the success of the oncology patient support program (PSP) portfolio. This role requires expertise in oncology patient care, stakeholder engagement, and understanding of the Canadian oncology healthcare landscape to develop and improve patient support programs.

Responsibilities

1. Act as subject matter expert in the oncology patient journey and contribute to cross-functional teams.
2. Provide oncology knowledge and training to team members.
3. Stay informed on national oncology healthcare trends, research, and legislative changes.
4. Engage with external stakeholders, including patient advocacy groups and healthcare providers.
5. Develop and maintain relationships within the oncology ecosystem.
6. Support business development and program launches.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in oncology care, including as an Oncology Drug Access Navigator/Coordinator.
• Strong understanding of oncology patient support programs and healthcare landscape.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system and market access processes.
• Bilingualism is an asset.
