A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Data Analyst to support analytical data needs and manage complex data requests. The role involves improving data processes and leading analytics projects. Candidates should have extensive experience in data analysis, preferably in healthcare, and possess strong SQL and data reporting skills. Support analytical data needs for the assigned business unit. Handle complex data requests and act as a “go-to” person for other Data Analysts.
Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field. 8+ years of data analysis experience, preferably in healthcare, or 5+ years of related IT experience including data warehouse, coding, or ETL experience. Advanced SQL and Microsoft Access skills, relational database knowledge, and experience with various data reporting tools are preferred. Knowledge of statistics and application of high-level mathematical models in medical and pharmacy claims data is preferred. Understanding of health insurance business, claims payment procedures, strategies, and trends in healthcare government programs is preferred. A Master’s degree and supervisory experience are also preferred. Encounters experience is a plus.
$105,600.00 - $195,400.00 per year
Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and flexible work arrangements such as remote, hybrid, field, or office schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on skills, experience, education, and other factors. Total compensation may include additional incentives.
