A leading mining solutions provider is seeking a Senior Manager, Logistics North and Central America to lead logistics activities supporting mining consumables. You will manage regional operations, drive process optimization, and ensure compliance across logistics activities. Candidates should have relevant experience in logistics and strong leadership skills. This role offers flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options, in various Metso offices across Canada and the USA.
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Logistics North and Central America (NCA) to join our Consumables Logistics NCA team. You will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for logistics activities supporting mining consumables, overseeing regional logistics operations, and driving process optimization, which involves managing complex transportation networks and ensuring reliable delivery performance across all customer segments. Your role plays a crucial part in enabling efficient factory and distribution operations and ensuring visibility, compliance, and continuous improvement across logistics activities, which will contribute to improved service, cost control, and customer satisfaction. In this position, you will report to Director NCA Logistics.
This position is mainly located across any Metso office across Canada & USA. We are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
You will join a team of supply chain and logistics experts dedicated to optimizing warehousing and distribution processes, who are passionate about driving reliable delivery performance and continuous improvement across logistics operations. We are currently working on visibility and tracking processes, continuous improvement initiatives, performance dashboards, and multi site distribution operations.
We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Production, Procurement, Planners, HS&E, and logistics carriers and vendors. Our team culture is all about collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. The members in our team are located in the U.S., Canada, and other global Metso locations.
