Job summary

Mejuri in Toronto is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to own the unit sales forecast across pillars and collections, translating it into monthly receipts and ensuring forecast accuracy. You’ll lead the monthly S&OP cycle, presenting to senior leadership and collaborating with Merchandising, Finance, Allocation, and Supply to align on the plan while adapting to market trends and inventory needs.

This hybrid role offers in‑office 3 days a week at 60 Bloor Street W and remote 2 days, with a focus on

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, merchandise planning, inventory planning, or retail analytics within a fast‑paced retail, DTC, or e‑commerce environment.
• Experience operating inside an S&OP or monthly consensus process.
• Strong command of forecasting methodology and judgment for adjustments.
• Cross‑functional collaboration with Merchandising, Finance, Allocation, and Supply.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and BI tool usage; SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the unit sales forecast: build a rolling monthly forecast at style/color level over 12–18 months, net of returns, by geography.
• Translate forecast into monthly receipt dollar need and present at consensus meetings.
• Manage inventory coverage targets and align receipts to seasonality and turnover goals.
• Lead the monthly S&OP cycle: input, cadence, and delivering a locked forecast and disaggregation.
• Own size distribution curves and adjust as assortment evolves.
• Track forecast accuracy and root‑cause misses for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Supply on inventory risks and adjust plans as needed.
• Improve the demand planning process with better tooling and workflows.
