Job summary

Mejuri in Toronto is seeking a Financial Analyst to own the budgeting and forecasting cycle across departments and stores. You will track actuals against plan and surface variance insights to leadership.

You'll prepare reporting packages, conduct variance analyses, and support weekly cash flow reporting. Collaborating with payroll and cross-functional partners, you will help improve budgeting processes in Mejuri's FP&A function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Business Administration with Finance or Accounting specialization.
• 1–3 years in FP&A or financial reporting; retail or CPG asset and CPA/CFA/CBV progress desirable.
• Advanced Excel with complex formulas and large data handling.
• Ability to quickly learn and use new systems.
• Self-directed, proactive and able to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong written and spoken communication across functions and with executives.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and forecasting across departments and stores; monitor results vs. plan and flag divergences.
• Prepare weekly cash flow reports and assist with ad hoc analyses.
• Identify process improvements to speed and improve budgeting/forecasting.
• Produce reporting packages and perform variance analyses for leadership.
• Provide decision-support by analyzing past and projected financial impact.
