Job summary

Arc’teryx in North Vancouver is seeking a Demand Planner to build and maintain rolling demand forecasts for an assigned category, turning assortment plans into demand projections and contributing to the monthly IBP cycle to connect near-term execution with a 1-5 year view. You will work with Merchandise, Supply, Inventory, FP&A, and Commercial teams, balancing statistical discipline with business judgment.

This role requires strong Excel and forecasting skills, plus the ability to translate data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Demand Planning or Merchandise Planning.
• Forecasting experience with statistical methods and advanced Excel/data manipulation.
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs and launches.
• Experience with tools such as o9, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a rolling near- and long-term demand forecast for the assigned category.
• Contribute to the IBP cycle by reconciling top-down targets with bottom-up SKU forecasts.
• Provide volume outlooks to Supply Planning for capacity and buy decisions.
• Build demand curves for new product launches.
• Conduct scenario and risk planning and communicate findings to cross-functional partners.
• Support forecast accuracy initiatives and expand scenario coverage for key decisions.
