Job summary

A technology consulting firm is seeking a Senior Integration Project Manager in Toronto to lead integrated projects, work closely with various stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery. The candidate should have at least 7 years of technical project management experience, strong knowledge of Microservices, and proven Agile delivery skills. This role requires excellent communication and organizational abilities, as well as experience in delivering customer-facing applications at a financial institution.

Job Title

Senior Integration Project Manager - IT

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

Responsibilities
  • Lead the integrated project deliverables and integrated timeline for a project across multiple components within Digital and beyond
  • Participate in the solution design sessions with Product Owners, Solution Architects, UX Designers and Tech. Leads
  • Identify as the SME for the end-to-end solution, understanding each integration point, and understand work involved in delivering each component of the solution.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with our business and technology partners, collaborating on delivery
  • Offer guidance during all phases of the delivery lifecycle (discovery, definition, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation)
  • Provide viable options to the project team when issues are encountered
  • Establish strong working relationships across business units and channels to build influence and impact with key business partners.
  • Contribute to ongoing administrative program/project activities as required.
  • Build E2E Integration schedules with stakeholders as applicable
Must have
  • B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of technical project leadership/development management
  • Excellent understanding of Architectural concepts
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Understanding of Microservices (Java/Spring Boot)
  • Strong mobile OS understanding (iOS/Android)
  • 7+ years of tech industry experience Communication, organization, management, and people skills
  • Be able to work cross functionally with multiple partners in different time zones
  • Experience working with external technology vendors and partners as applicable
  • Iterative and Agile Delivery experience
  • Someone who can work with ambiguity, has a strong technical background (services/mobile (iOS/Android)), has experience working in a senior technology manager/lead capacity at a Financial Institution (including delivering a customer facing application from conception-live-warranty)
  • Analytical person, self-starter, somebody who takes pride in their work
  • Results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while managing a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Nice to have
  • Previous experience on integrations utilizing cloud technologies (OCP4, Azure)
  • Delivery experience on APIs development both for internal and external
  • Previous delivery experience on product integrations leveraging mobile SDKs and web SDKs
  • Previous experience with Online and Mobile Banking Development and Delivery of projects
  • Understanding of security and information security aspects
  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
