Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in design, construction, or operation of hydropower projects.
• Proficiency with design and simulation software such as HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, and turbine design tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual and detailed design of hydropower facilities, including dams, waterways, powerhouse structures, and electrical/mechanical systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site selection, and environmental impact assessments for hydropower projects.
• Specify and select appropriate turbine and generator technology for various site conditions.
• Oversee construction, commissioning, and operational aspects of hydropower plants.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis to optimize water resource utilization and power generation.
• Ensure designs and operations meet engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
