Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an Intermediate/Senior Project Engineer – Hydropower and Water Resources to join our Power team in Canada. This role focuses on coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities and delivering complex hydropower and water infrastructure projects across Canada and the United States.

The successful candidate will lead design reviews, manage interfaces, and drive technical issues to resolution from development through construction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Geotechnical, or related engineering discipline relevant to hydropower development.
Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada or eligible for registration.
7+ years of progressive engineering experience in hydropower or related infrastructure projects.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering deliverables, schedules, interfaces, and reviews.
Experience with design basis documents, technical specifications, and tender packages.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary engineering activities for hydropower and water resources projects from planning through construction.
Develop key engineering deliverables and schedules; manage interfaces and reviews.
Coordinate resource, schedule, and budget inputs with Project Managers and discipline leads.
Lead design reviews, constructability reviews, and risk assessments; drive issue resolution.
Mentor junior engineers and foster effective multidisciplinary teams.
