Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design on hydropower and dam projects across North America. You will guide HDH team efforts, mentor engineers, and coordinate multidisciplinary design packages while upholding safety, quality, and constructability.

The role requires extensive experience with ETAP, protection and control design, and a Canadian PE designation or eligibility. Hybrid work options are available from Oakville or Burnaby locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and P.Eng eligibility or license in Canada.
• Experience with ETAP or similar tools and plant-level electrical systems studies.
• Proven track record leading electrical design on hydropower and dam projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support electrical system design including generation, distribution, protection, and grounding.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design packages with internal teams and external partners.
• Support procurement packages and system studies to ensure constructability and safety.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
