Job summary

Gexel Telecom International Inc. is seeking a Senior Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor who will lead risk prevention, regulatory compliance, and continuous HSE improvement across operations.

This role reports to the HSE Manager and partners with site teams to embed a sustainable HSE culture. You will coordinate investigations, manage CNESST files where applicable, maintain dashboards, and support training programs while traveling to assess sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• 10 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management.
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or multi-site environment.
• Excellent knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards (asset).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate HSE leadership across sites.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate HSE risks.
• Conduct site visits, audits, and incident investigations.
• Manage CNESST files and regulatory compliance activities.
• Develop training materials and support awareness campaigns.
