Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a Regional Health & Safety Manager for Quebec to lead health, safety and regulatory compliance across operations.

You will drive ESS program implementation, audits and incident analysis, while mentoring teams and promoting continuous improvement. This leadership role requires strong knowledge of HSE regulations, hands-on field presence, and collaboration with operations to reduce risk and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple sites in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health and safety or related field.
• At least four years of environmental, health and safety compliance experience.
• Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective Health and Safety programs are implemented.
• Perform regular facility assessments for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct SEMS audits and provide improvement recommendations.
• Support incident management with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor and report health and safety KPIs.
• Collaborate with HSE teams to enhance safety training and procedures.
