Podtech Data Centre Inc. is seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor Lead to develop and manage the EHSS system across operations.

The role focuses on documenting processes, generating progress reports, and creating policies while coordinating with departments to ensure safe working environments. The ideal candidate brings a degree or diploma in Environmental Safety and at least 3 years of progressive safety experience, with strong analytical and communication skills to influence

Qualifications

• Degree or post-secondary diploma in Environmental Safety or professional accreditation.
• Minimum 3 years’ progressive experience in occupational or process safety across multiple operations.
• Experience with legislation, industry best practices, and implementing HSE systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize the EHSS Management System.
• Embed a proactive culture of continuous improvement across jurisdictions.
• Regular review and assessment of health, safety, and environment risks.
• Conduct safety and environmental performance reviews to ensure compliance with regulations and Iris Energy policy.
• Collaborate with operations and stakeholders to develop effective HSE programs.
• Oversee safety and environmental reporting and performance metrics.
• Lead investigations of HSE incidents and share lessons learned.
• Set annual and long-range safety, health, and training goals.
