Job summary

Egis Canada in Vancouver, BC is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to spearhead the planning, design and delivery of electrical systems for infrastructure and aviation projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from concept through detail design and field verification, ensuring technical integrity and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, a P.Eng. with EGBC, and strong leadership, communication and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
P.Eng. designation with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC).
Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering experience.
5+ years leading design for aviation, infrastructure, or building electrical systems.
Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and standards.
Experience leading design activities and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
Experience with client-facing project delivery.
Experience using AutoCAD and other electrical design software.

Responsibilities

Lead the electrical design and implementation of systems for infrastructure and aviation projects.
Prepare and review engineering design documentation, technical specifications, calculations, and project reports.
Conduct design reviews and technical evaluations to support QA and risk management.
