Job summary

Egis Canada is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer stationed in Calgary, AB, Canada. This senior role leads planning, design, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems for infrastructure and aviation projects. The incumbent will work in a multidisciplinary setting, from concept to field verification, and provide technical leadership across engineering activities.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of electrical experience, P.Eng. with APEGA, and strong knowledge of electrical codes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
P.Eng. designation with APEGA in good standing is required.
Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering experience.
Experience leading electrical design for aviation, infrastructure, or building projects.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design and implementation for infrastructure and aviation projects.
Prepare and review design documentation, specs, calculations, and reports.
Conduct design reviews and coordinate multidisciplinary activities.
Mentor junior engineers and guide design teams.
Support regulatory submissions and ensure code compliance.
Engage with clients and stakeholders in project delivery.
Perform field verifications and ensure conformance with design requirements.
Help develop and improve engineering standards and procedures.
Support project delivery with scheduling and technical reporting.
