Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of electrical experience, a P.Eng. designation, and strong client liaison and project management skills. The role emphasizes standards, mentoring, and cross‑disciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
• P.Eng. designation with APEGA is mandatory or in good standing.
• Minimum 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• At least 5 years of Canadian project design/management experience.
• Solid knowledge of CEC and local/international standards.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar electrical design tools is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems.
• Prepare detailed design documentation, specifications, and reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and design staff.
• Review technical work for quality and accuracy.
• Manage project schedules and budgets and engage with clients.
• Provide input during project planning and execution.
• Contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
