Job summary

Kindsight is seeking a Senior Director, Solutions Engineering to lead the pre-sales function across solution design, demonstrations, and complex enterprise proposals in nonprofit, education, and healthcare markets.

You will align demos and RFP responses with customer needs, build scalable processes, and develop SE and proposal teams, driving win rates and deployment of repeatable, high-quality engagements. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or related roles in enterprise SaaS.
• Proven experience leading and scaling pre-sales or proposal teams.
• Strong organizational, process design, and program management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to synthesize complex information.

Responsibilities

• Lead Solutions Engineering and Proposal Management aligned to enterprise opportunities.
• Oversee complex RFP/RFI/RFQ responses and pricing matrices.
• Coordinate cross-functional contributors across Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, Finance, Legal, Services, Partnerships.
• Establish capacity planning, SLAs, and governance for demos and proposals.
• Travel up to 30% as required.
