Job summary

Placements24 in Kimberley is seeking a highly analytical Senior Construction Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for a broad range of projects. You will analyze plans, scope of work and quantify labor, materials and equipment to support competitive bids.

You will collaborate with project managers, architects and subcontractors, maintain supplier pricing, and review bids for accuracy and profitability, using Timberline, CostX and Excel to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Construction Estimator.
• Proficiency in estimating software (Timberline, CostX) and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bids for various construction projects, including tendering processes.
