Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee critical infrastructure projects in Kimberley, Canada. You will manage planning, execution, and delivery of utilities, public works, or major civil engineering works, working with engineering teams, contractors, and regulators to ensure safety, efficiency and on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in infrastructure project management, leadership, and contract administration, with a Civil Engineering or Construction

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of infrastructure project management experience.
• Proven track record in large-scale civil, utility, or public works projects.
• Deep knowledge of development processes, engineering principles, and construction methods.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management software and contract administration.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, from initiation, planning, and design through to construction and commissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, contractors, and other third parties to ensure project objectives are met.
• Oversee site activities, monitor progress, ensure quality control, and enforce safety standards on project sites.
• Manage project finances, track expenditures, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate project status, key decisions, and potential issues to stakeholders and senior management effectively.
