Job summary

Dheya in Surrey BC is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of estimating experience, with a strong background in both ICI and Residential projects, and a proven ability to develop accurate, competitive bids.

The role requires strong mathematical and analytical skills, proficiency with estimating software and MS Office, and the ability to communicate clearly with project managers and engineers to ensure projects

Responsibilities

• Analyze project costs and forecasts, providing value engineering options where applicable

The Estimator will analyze project plans, perform quantity take-offs, and prepare detailed cost estimates, collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to understand project requirements and scope.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and information as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and ensure compliance with all specifications.
• Analyze project costs and budget forecasts, providing value engineering options where applicable.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on estimating progress and timelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in estimating within the construction industry.
• Experience estimating ICI and Residential project is an asset.
