Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Construction Planner and Scheduler to develop and manage comprehensive project schedules for major construction initiatives in Kimberley. This role requires strategic thinking, deep knowledge of construction processes, and strong coordination with project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

You will create detailed timelines, allocate resources, perform critical path analyses, and implement recovery plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar project scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and lead times.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex schedules simultaneously.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain detailed construction project schedules using advanced planning software.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to define project milestones and dependencies.
• Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and identify deviations.
