Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Child Development Facilitator in Kimberley to mentor and support community-based early learning programs. The role combines field work with home-office planning in a hybrid setup, requiring travel to community sites within the Northern Cape region and engagement with caregivers and educators to raise quality standards.

You will design and deliver training, help adapt curricula, monitor program delivery, and contribute to data-driven reporting while fostering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development, Education, Social Work, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in early childhood education or community development.
• Proven experience training and mentoring adult learners.
• Strong knowledge of child development and pedagogy for young children.
• Hybrid work ability with travel to community sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and technical support to facilitators and caregivers.
• Assess needs of community programs and develop tailored support plans.
• Facilitate workshops and training on child development and program management.
• Develop curriculum and learning materials for diverse contexts.
• Monitor program implementation and provide feedback to ensure quality.
• Collect and analyze data on program outcomes for reports.
• Build relationships with parents, leaders, and government agencies.
• Stay updated on best practices in early childhood development.
