Placements24 seeks a dedicated Special Needs Education Coordinator to lead inclusive education efforts in Kimberley. You will develop and implement tailored programs and support systems for students with diverse learning needs, collaborating with teachers, parents, therapists, and external agencies to ensure holistic student growth.

The ideal candidate brings a Master’s in Special Needs Education, 5+ years in the field with leadership experience, and a passion for equitable learning

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Needs Education or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in special education, with at least 2 years in coordination/leadership.
• Deep knowledge of disabilities, learning challenges, and intervention strategies.
• Experience developing and managing IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee IEPs for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to train and support inclusive teaching strategies.
• Coordinate with external specialists, therapists, and agencies for student support.
• Monitor student progress and evaluate intervention program effectiveness.
• Serve as liaison between school, parents, and support services.
• Advocate for students' needs within the school community.
