A major financial institution located in Halifax is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to lead requirements delivery and data analysis. This role involves eliciting and documenting functional requirements for Trade Compliance projects, as well as interacting with various teams to gather business and data requirements. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in business systems analysis, particularly in an agile environment, and will play a crucial role in managing stakeholder expectations and delivering project outcomes.
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst in the Compliance Technology team, you will execute all aspects of requirements delivery and data analysis—planning, elicitation, analysis and documentation—and requirements management. You will play a core role in translating business requirement documents into functional requirements to design and implement new scenarios to provide surveillance to detect potential market misconduct.
