As a Senior Bridge Design Technician, you’ll have the chance to join one of our Ontario offices (Toronto, Kitchener, or Ottawa) and work on transportation projects focusing on bridge and transportation structure design. Daily, you will collaborate with technicians and engineers to create drawings and simulations using software tools supporting our clients’ project goals. You’ll work with bridge engineers and project managers to provide excellent client service.

You’ll create layouts, sketches, and 2D/3D models and electronic drawings for construction using Microstation, AutoCAD, OpenBridge Designer, OpenRoads, Civil3D, and other resources to produce detailed transportation structure drawings.

Here's what you'll need:

  • A two-year technical degree in CADD
  • 10+ years’ experience detailing bridges, laying out retaining walls, and detailing reinforcement and steel
  • Experience with MicroStation and AutoCAD
  • Experience with Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat PDF software
  • Knowledge of MTO and Ontario Municipal Design Standards
  • Ability to read construction and engineering documents
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in production plans
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience with OpenBridge Designer, OpenRoads, Civil3D, Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and ProjectWise
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in developing bridge plans

Posted Salary Range Minimum: $70,500.00

Posted Salary Range Upper: $100,000.00
