Job Summary

Our Ainsworth RBAS team is seeking a RBAS Specialist to join our Ottawa team. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with some experience in the Building Automation industry. You will grow your knowledge, assist the RBAS team in developing standards, evaluating products, and creating applications to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the BAS group as directed by the hiring manager.
• Support site commissioning and conduct monthly/annual inspections with field technicians.
• Perform monthly preventive maintenance tasks.
• Develop applications to meet customer needs and improve remote monitoring business efficiency.
• Support sales efforts in national accounts.

Qualifications

• 0 to 3 years of experience in Building Automation.
• A four-year college/university degree, or a two- or three-year post-secondary engineering technology or applied science program, or equivalent field experience. Eligible for registration with PEO or OACETT is preferred.
• Fluent in English, both written and oral; French fluency is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, and product documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio, or scripted programming languages.
• Willing to travel occasionally; travel expenses will be reimbursed.
