About the Opportunity
  • Oversee AP, AR, payroll, inventory and general ledger activities across multiple legal entities.
  • Perform and review various day‑to‑day accounting transactions and journal entries, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Review monthly bank reconciliations for Canadian and US accounts.
  • Participate in various monthly accounting cycle activities and reporting of key metrics.
  • Variance and margin analysis, ensuring proper revenue and expense recognition.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Review / submit provincial and federal government tax reporting as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Participate in the preparation of forecasts and budgets.
  • Coordinate the compilation of year‑end audit reports and requests.
  • Participate in cross‑training to provide coverage for other positions within the team as needed.
  • Support ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Proactively identify data discrepancies by applying intuitive reasoning and investigative research.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and provide input to improve current processes to create efficiencies.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflows and enhance accounting systems.
About You
  • Post‑secondary education in accounting, finance or business, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive full‑cycle accounting experience including financial reporting and analysis.
  • CPA designation preferred.
Salary Range

$75,000 - $100,000/year
