Responsibilities

• Proactive patrols across academic buildings and grounds.
• Responding to medical and safety incidents with empathy and professionalism.
• Supporting residence and community event safety.
• Liaising with municipal parks authorities and provincial bodies for maintaining trail safety.
• Enforcing fishing and forestry safety.
• Working closely with supervised farm animals, pets and wildlife (beavers, foxes).
• Managing lost and found, parking, and access.
• Collaborating with staff and local emergency responders.

Averaging Agreement : Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C from a WSIB-approved provider
• Strong communication skills and an upbeat, professional attitude
• Ability to handle fast-paced, diverse campus demands
• Prior post-secondary or healthcare security experience an asset
• Must not be a current Seneca student at King Campus
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
• Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB certification program prior to their onboarding training
• Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
