Job summary

Playground Poker seeks a Security Supervisor to bridge leadership and frontline ops. You will supervise Security Officers on shifts, enforce safety protocols and guest-service standards, and guide real-time responses to incidents.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, documenting incidents, and coordinating with Gaming, F&B, and Surveillance to maintain a secure, professional environment. Join us to advance in a dynamic casino setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in security operations, with 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Casino or hospitality experience preferred.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent leadership; strong English communication; French is a strong asset.
• Physically fit for demanding security tasks.
• Calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Office and professional report writing.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays.
• High ethical standards and confidentiality.
• Complete 1 month training as officer and 1 month as supervisor; Level 1 de-escalation within 2 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of Security Officers and ensure policy compliance.
• Act as primary contact for security issues during shifts and provide immediate direction.
• Monitor access control, floor activity and surveillance to ensure safety of staff and guests.
• Intervene and de-escalate complex or problematic situations, including disturbances or intoxication.
• Coach and train Security Officers to ensure protocol compliance and service standards.
• Write complete, accurate incident reports detailing events.
• Coordinate responses to emergencies, alarms or medical incidents, including first aid.
• Ensure security equipment and technology are functional and used correctly.
• Collaborate with Gaming, F&B, and Surveillance to resolve operational issues.
