Job summary

Playground is seeking a highly professional Surveillance Operator to join our security team. This part-time role focuses on monitoring gaming and non-gaming areas, reviewing incidents, and reporting objectively to protect guests and staff.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in surveillance, strong judgment, and discretion. Training is a four-week, full-time program, with flexible hours during training and after assignment.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience in a professional surveillance capacity within a gaming environment or related setting.
• Experience with Poker and understanding of gaming operations is an asset.
• High level of personal integrity and discretion; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor gaming areas, poker tables, cash handling zones, and machine operations.
• Write clear, concise incident reports in English; ensure grammar and accuracy.
• Collaborate with floor management and security to deter and review theft, cheating, aggression, or suspicious activity.
• Conduct impartial video investigations and provide objective evidence for decisions.
