Job summary

Responsibilities include mobile patrols, monitoring surveillance, reporting incidents, coordinating with law enforcement, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• At least 25 years of age.
• Familiarity with access control and alarm systems.
• Valid G-class driver’s licence with a clear abstract.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems.
• Ontario Security Guard Licence valid.
• Able to work 40 hours per week and legally eligible to work in Canada.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms and respond to breaches.
• Check doors, windows and access points for security and policy compliance.
• Interact with clients, visitors and employees, providing assistance and directions.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisors; document actions taken.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain logs and records of patrols and incidents.
• Inspect security equipment and vehicles; report deficiencies.

Pay Rate: $19.75 per hour

Shifts : Various (Overnight shifts , day shifts )

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Mobile Patrol Supervisor in London, ON to provide professional, front-line security services. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, able to work night shifts, a professional demeanor, and willing to work with a dynamic team.

Requirement:

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm systems.
• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• A valid G class driver's licence and a clear drivers abstract is mandatory.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions:

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities
• Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
• Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
• Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation
