• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized activity and ensure safety.
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, responding to breaches or disturbances.
• Perform security checks of buildings and access points to prevent entry violations.
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing directions and information.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisors and authorities with observations and actions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and responders to manage incidents.
• Maintain logs of patrols and incidents per policy and regulations.
• Inspect security equipment and vehicles, reporting deficiencies.
• Conduct risk assessments and suggest security enhancements.
• Participate in training to improve security procedures and response.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities
• Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
• Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
• Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation
