Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking Security Professionals in London, Ontario. This casual position pays $20.62 per hour and includes shifts across days and nights with varying start times.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, professional conduct, and teamwork in a dynamic environment. Qualified candidates will hold a valid Ontario security guard license, have First Aid/CPR, and be at least 18 years old with a HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• Driver's License is considered an asset.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 24 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as perthe post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols,manage the movement of guests at various points throughout the property etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training

Shifts : Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri and Sat; (07:00-19:00; 19:00- 07:00); Overnight shifts follow same pattern, subject to change.
