Job summary

Allied Universal in Ottawa is hiring a Mobile Security Supervisor to lead frontline security operations for a prestigious financial institution. The role focuses on patrols, monitoring alarms, and coordinating with law enforcement when needed.

The position requires a valid Ontario Security Guard Licence, a full G driver's license, and First Aid/CPR certification, with the ability to work more than 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 or older ( for insurance purpose)
• Must have a full G driver licence
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Conduct Patrols
• Valid ON Security Guard License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada over 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities
• Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
• Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
• Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation
