Job summary

Allied Universal in London, ON is seeking a Mobile Shift Lead to oversee frontline security operations during night shifts. You will conduct mobile patrols, monitor CCTV and alarms, and ensure safe, compliant facilities for client sites.

The role requires strong customer service, a valid ON Security Guard license, First Aid/CPR, and a clean driver’s abstract with a G license. This full-time position offers night shifts Sundays to Thursdays and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes.
• Valid ON Security Guard License.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate is a must
• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms; respond to breaches and disturbances.
• Perform security checks of doors, windows, and access points.

• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders.
• Maintain logs of patrols and incidents; ensure policy compliance.
• Inspect security equipment and emergency supplies; report issues.
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits; recommend improvements.
• Participate in training to enhance security procedures and response protocols

Pay Rate: $19.75 per hour

Status: Full-Time

Shift: Sundays to Thursdays; (11:00pm - 8:00am); Night Shifts

Specific Duties Performed And Essential Functions

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities
• Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
• Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
• Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation
